Cook Box is a cutting edge food delivery app designed to enhance and simplify the way users discover, order, and enjoy their healthy and favourite meals. With a focus on intuitive UI and seamless UX, the app aims to provide a delightful and efficient experience for both customers and restaurant partners.
Project Overview
Research: Conducted user research to identify the target audience and their needs. Developed research questions and chose to conduct online surveys to collect data from a large number of participants. Analyzed the data collected to better understanding the target audience and their preferences.
Goals and Objectives: To create a food platform that reduces human effort and makes it easier for busy professionals to eat healthy meals at home. To provide a seamless experience for both buying and selling food through the platform. To create a smooth payment procedure to make it easy for users to pay for their meals with minimal hassle.
Design and Development: Designed the platform to have two sides: a buyer and a seller side. Developed the buyer side to allow users to browse a wide range of healthy and delicious meals with easy recipe options and a meal planning tool.
Testing: Conducted through testing to ensure that the platform was user- friendly and easy to navigate. Tested the payment system to ensure that it was secure and efficient. Conducted user testing to get feedback on the platform and make improvements as necessary.
COOK BOX
Cook box is a food perfection that allows a seamless experience for both buying and selling food. It has two sides: a buyer side and a seller side.
On the buyer side, users can easily purchase healthy and delicious meals without having to spread time planning and preparing them themselves. Cook Box offers a range of quick and easy recipe options, as well as a meal planning tool to help users organize their meals for the week. The payment procedure is smooth, making it easy for users to pay for their meals with minimal hassle.
One the seller side, Cook Box allows users to enter their own food items and sell them through the platform. This provides an opportunity for individuals who love cooking and want to share their recipes with others to monetize their skills. The seller side also benefits buyers by providing a wider range of options to choose from.
Overall, Cook Box provides an innovative solution to the challenges of meal planning and food preparation, making it a convenient and efficient choice for busy professionals who want to eat healthy meals at home.

I was conducting research to understand the experience and pain points of 5 users who used a Food App. Through surveys and interviews, I identified the difficulties and frustrations that users encountered while using the app.
The purpose of the research was to gain insights into the user's needs and expectations so that Food App could be improved to better serve their needs.
The Problems
Limited Menu Options:
Users may become frustrated if there are not enough restaurant or menu options available, resulting in less frequent use of the app.
Complicated Navigation:
Difficult- to- navigate interfaces can lead to users becoming frustrated and abandoning the app in favor of a more user- friendly alternative.
Inaccurate Order Fulfillment:
User may experience issues with incorrect order, delayed delivery, or food items arriving cold or damaged, leading to dissatisfaction and negative reviews.
Payment Processing Issues:
Payment processing issues, such as payment failure or slow transaction processing, can lead to frustration and may discourage users from using the app.
Slow Loading Times:
Slow loading times and unresponsive interfaces can hinder the user experience and discourage users from using the app, resulting in less frequent use and potentially lower user retention rates.
Solutions
Limited Menu Options:
Expand the selection of restaurants and menu items available on the app. Partner with more restaurants to provide greater variety to users.
Complicated Navigation:
Simplify the user interface and navigation to make it more user- friendly. Conduct user testing to identify and address any areas of confusion in the navigation.
Inaccurate Order Fulfillment:
Improve communication with restaurants and delivery drivers to ensure accurate and timely delivery. Implement a quality control process to ensure the accuracy and quality of orders.
Payment Processing Issues:
Provide multiple payment options to users to minimize payment failures. Ensure a secure and reliable payment processing system to reduce transaction processing times.
Slow Loading Times:
Optimize the app's performance to reduce loading times. Reduce the size and complexity of the app to improve responsiveness and spread.

Details of Recipe
The recipe information provided was insufficient and often lacked details on ingredients, nutritional value, and preparation steps. User reported difficulty in finding recipes that met their dietary restrictions or preferences.
Payment System
The payment system was unreliable and prone to failures, resulting in frustration for users. User reported long transaction processing times, which made the payment process slow and inconvenient.
Get Rewards
The loyalty program was perceived as ineffective and unattractive, leading to low user engagement. Users felt that the rewards offered were not compelling enough to incentivize them to order more frequently.
Deliver On Time
User frequently reported issues with inaccurate and delayed order fulfillment, leading to dissatisfaction. The delivery tracking feature was unreliable and often inaccurate, causing frustration and confusion for users.

- Khushi is a busy professional who works long hours at her job.
- She enjoys cooking, but often finds it challenging to find the time to pain and prepare meals.
- Sarah is health- conscious and tries to eat a balanced diet, but she also enjoys indulging in comfort foods from time to time.
- She lives in a small apartment with her partner and has a moderate budget for groceries.
Goals:
- Khushi's primary goal is to find convenient and healthy meal options that fit into her busy schedule.
- She wants to be able to easily search for recipes that meet her dietary preferences and nutritional needs.
- Khushi also wants to be able to create shopping lists and order groceries through the app to save time.
- She expects the payment process to be seamless and secure.
Challenges:
